2026 Minnie Untermyer Series: Tom Gold Dance
About this Event
Saturday, June 20 at 6:00 PM, RAIN DATE Sunday, June 21 at 6:00 PM.
Bold and original, Tom Gold Dance aspires to the highest level of artistry through an integrated approach to original choreography, music, and design within the framework of a traditional classical dance vocabulary.
At an English supper club in the 1930s, a group of audacious and flirtatious guests vie for the spotlight (and each other’s affections) in Tom Gold’s Mad About the Boy as Tom Gold Dance returns to Untermyer Park and Gardens for the sixth consecutive year. A vivacious and virtuosic romp inspired by Robert Altman’s satirical masterpiece, Gosford Park, Mad About the Boy features the sophisticated and delightful songs of Ivor Novello, Noël Coward, and others, performed live by vocalist Kate Kortum and pianist Matthew Sheens alongside Company dancers.
