2026 Minnesota State Shoot is a 3X WPQ on a 5-stage match over two days with shotgun, rifle and eliminator hosted by the Wild Rice Peacemakers.
Order of events (Office hours are approximate):
Friday, August 14th
Move-in allowed after 12pm.
Office will be open at the crow’s nest for entries from 5-9pm
Saturday, August 15th
Office will be open from 7-8am. You must be signed up and paid by then to compete. NO changes to entries after 8am.
Shooters Safety Meeting - 8:30 am
Wrangler Ground Shooting (10 balloons) - 8:40 am
Presentation of the flags to follow ground shooting
Main Match: Stages 1-3 starting at 9 am
Rifle to follow MM
Potluck to follow rifle! Please bring a dish or dessert to share! Meat will be provided.
Sunday, August 16th
Eliminator: Based off first 3 stages of MM – 8 am
Shotgun Stages 1 & 2
Main Match: Stages 4-5 following final shotgun stage
Awards – Approximately 1 hour after the last shot.

Fees for the weekend:
Main Match: 5 stages, entry fee: $150 - Level paybacks (NO senior splits)
Wrangler Main Match: $30
Rifle: 2 stages, entry Fee: $45 – Class Paybacks
Shotgun: 2 stages, entry Fee: $40 – Class Paybacks
Eliminator - $50 entry fee
Limited (1-3) Cowboys & Cowgirls
Open (4-6) Cowboys & Cowgirls
NO senior splits
Qualifier for the eliminator will be overall times from stages 1-3 of the main match, and taking back the top 5 Cowboys and Cowgirls in each division.
Clean Shooter: $10 entry fee - 100% payback split between all shooters with no penalties.
Overall Jackpot: $50 entry fee – 3D or 4D dependent on number of entries.

Other Fees/Details:
• Ammo: Whitehouse and Curly’s
Office fee - $10
• Dry Camping: $30/weekend – No Electrical Hookups
• Porta Pens Welcome: All hay and manure from porta pen sites must be cleaned up at the end of the weekend.
• Limited Stalls Available: $25/horse: No horses are allowed in the stalls during the hours of the shoot. All hay and manure need to be cleaned at the end of the weekend. Please contact Katie Pulford at 218-671-8753 to reserve.
• Bathroom & Showers On-Site.
• One Centrally Located Water Hydrant On-Site
• Food Truck Available for the weekend
