Enjoy this annual festival celebrating Minneapolis' urban forest, hosted by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) Forestry Department and its network of community partners! Help plant a tree at Bethune Park and enjoy a unique variety of tree-themed activities, education, and entertainment for all ages:
• Climb a tree using a harness like arborists do - with supervision by MPRB forestry professionals
• Tree-sized lawn games like chess, checkers, mancala and kubb
• Ask an Arborist booth with free advice on tree care
• Nature play area made from repurposed tree limbs
• Tree-themed activities by MPRB Environmental Education staff
• Information and activities from environmental organizations and the Northside Residents Redevelopment Council (NRRC)
• Local food trucks
