2026 Mighty Marmot Kids Trail Races

Join us on Fridays this fall for the 5th Annual Mighty Marmot Kids Trail Races! Youths ages 4-12 are welcome to participate in three races around the valley. Sign up for one, two, or all three races and get ready to have a blast!
Fri, Sept. 4 - Maloit Park in Minturn
Fri, Sept. 18 - Miller Ranch Open Space in Edwards
Fri, Oct. 2 - Beaver Creek Village
Races will start at 4:15 p.m. and participants can choose between one-mile and two-mile options (4-year-olds can only race in the one-mile category).
Cost per race is $17 pre-registered, $22 day-of. Online registration at https://vail.finnlyconnect.com closes at 11:59 p.m. the night before the race.
Parents may run with their child at no cost.
Races will be timed and the top three racers in each age group (boys and girls 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12) will be recognized. Celebrate with a raffle and treats like mac n' cheese and ice cream after you finish!
