Land of Outsiders presents the annual Michigan Outdoor Summit, a two-day event held on September 30 - October 1, 2026, at Timber Ridge in Traverse City.
Amplified by Heart of the Lakes, mParks, Friends of Grand Rapids Parks, Leelanau Conservancy, TART Trails, Michigan Department of Natural Resources - Parks + Recreation, Six Rivers Land Conservancy, and Michigan Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry.

The Michigan Outdoor Summit is a gathering for all sectors of the outdoor economy in Michigan to connect, learn, grow, and build together with a vision for the future, health, and vitality of Michigan’s outdoors.
Through programming, networking, and outdoor activities, this event focuses on how we strengthen our communities and the outdoor economy and improve health and quality of life for all Michiganders.
We’re working to bring outdoor companies and organizations across the state together to solve the unique challenges Michigan faces and create a thriving outdoor economy for years to come
