Now in its 8th year, the Maumee Film Festival is the largest film festival in Northwest Ohio, a three-day event celebrating the art of creativity, filmmaking and storytelling. The Maumee Film Festival features short and feature films from filmmakers throughout our region and beyond, educational programming with industry professionals, interactive workshops and networking opportunities. The festival also celebrates the City of Maumee, an historic and peaceful community situated along the scenic Maumee River in Northwest Ohio. The Maumee Film Festival is presented by the historic Maumee Indoor Theatre, the Maumee Uptown Business Association, and FilmToledo, the regional film commission representing Northwest Ohio.We accept short and feature films from all types of filmmakers, from students to professionals. Student rates apply for short film submission fees (must be a currently enrolled high school or college student).
