Join us on Wednesday 11 March as we celebrate International Women’s Day, hosted by Jess Farchione, featuring keynote speaker Laura Jackel. Laura is a writer, podcaster and speaker, and the founder of The Good News Hunter, an Instagram-first media platform sharing uplifting stories from across the Hunter region.With over 15 years’ experience in digital and print media, Laura has held senior editorial roles at Mamamia, Kidspot and Newcastle Weekly, and has interviewed well-known figures including Celeste Barber, Taryn Brumfitt and Dr Norman Swan.
Laura currently co-hosts The Change podcast, now entering its fifth season, which explores women’s lived experiences in midlife. Her work is grounded in connection, community and the belief that positive stories can drive meaningful change.
