Charity Information
Twelve Days of Holidays, Inc. – Loudoun County Chapter
Twelve Days of Holidays, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope, joy and meaningful support to local children and families in need. Its Loudoun County chapter serves the community throughout the year through literacy initiatives, back-to-school support, family outreach and holiday assistance. In 2026, the organization’s goal is to provide 50 Loudoun County families with a brighter holiday season while offering dignity, encouragement and the reminder that their community cares.
American Legion Post 2001 – Leonard W. Kidd Memorial
American Legion Post 2001 is an all-volunteer organization serving veterans, military families and youth throughout Loudoun County. Founded in Ashburn as a living tribute to Specialist Five Leonard Whitley Kidd, the only Ashburn resident killed in action during the Vietnam War, the Post provides emergency financial assistance and disability-claims support to local veterans. It also invests in area youth through leadership and educational programs, Scouting sponsorships and community remembrance initiatives. Turkey Trot proceeds will directly support these important programs serving our Loudoun County neighbors.

Course Map
From Potomac Club head towards circle on Riverpoint to Upper Belmont, bear right down the hill (Upper Belmont Place) past Riverside HS, bear right at the circle, down the hill and circle the entire conference center perimeter, and turn left on Charlena Beth Drive, past the football field and bear right at the Circle and up the hill (upper Belmont) to the circle and Left onto Riverpoint for the homestretch, which is relatively flat, to the Potomac Club.

Live Race Results
Live results will be posted on Athlinks.com. Additionally, there will be a QR code at the race for you to scan to immediately view your results. Final race results with series points will be posted to our website on the Monday following your race.

Awards
The top three male and female finishers will each receive gift cards: 1st place $100, 2nd place $75, and 3rd place $50.

Photos
We will post any photos taken by staff on our Facebook page by Tuesday after the event.

On Tuesdays, we pick our favorite Instagram or Facebook post from the previous race weekend. The winner will receive 50% off a future race! Make sure to tag us in your race photos at:

Packet Pickup
Race packet pickup will be from 3-7pm on Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24 and from 10am-2pm on Wednesday, November 25 at the Potomac Club, 43459 Riverpoint Drive, Lansdowne, VA 20176. Please plan to pick up your race packets in advance to ensure enough time for all participants to make it to the start on time on Thanksgiving morning.

Race Day Registration
Will be available at the Potomac Club entrance from 7:30 am – 8:30 am.

Restrooms
A port-a-potty will be available on race day.

Volunteers
Volunteers should arrive at 7 am at the Potomac Club entrance. We will assign volunteer tasks on race morning. You can find parking information under “Directions to Parking” with a latitude and longitude pin for where to meet.

Weather Policy
We are an all-weather race company (rain or shine or sleet or snow). We will email registered runners and post on social media if the race is cancelled, but this is quite rare, otherwise assume the race is taking place as scheduled.
Weekly weather reports are posted on the Thursday before race weekends on our Facebook page. Race officials may delay, change or postpone the event due to weather conditions. All registered runners will be notified via email of any changes. In most cases, a decision is not made until the night before the race, and a decision could come as late as the morning of the event.

Directions to Parking
The races will start and finish in front of the Potomac Club at Lansdowne on the Potomac 43459 Riverpoint Drive, Landsdowne, VA 20176.
Curbside parking is available throughout Lansdowne in the Potomac neighborhood, in the open parking lot at the Potomac Club, and in the outdoor swimming pool parking lot on Coton Farm Court. Road closures will be in effect along the race route before and shortly after. Please see the race route below and plan accordingly.
No parking is permitted on Riverside Parkway or at any of the area Loudoun County Schools. Please refrain from parking in resident-designated parking areas, i.e., Townhouse parking.
