The 2026 Lakeshore Recovery Summit features keynote speakers Dr. Jennifer Harrison and Dr. Virna Little.
Keynote Speaker Introductions:
Jennifer Harrison, PhD, LMSW, CAADC is a professor in the School of Social Work at Western Michigan University and a nationally recognized expert in behavioral health workforce development, evidence-based practice implementation, and outcomes measurement. She has served as Co-Principal Investigator on more than $7.5 million in federally funded workforce development grants and is the co-developer of Goal Scaling Solutions, an innovative digital outcomes measurement platform. Dr. Harrison's research is widely published, and she has contributed to national initiatives with SAMHSA and The Pew Research Trusts. Most recently, she completed a Fulbright Specialist appointment in Slovakia focused on integrating Motivational Interviewing into supported employment services for individuals with disabilities.
Dr. Virna Little is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in behavioral health, suicide prevention, and integrated care. She is the Co-Founder of Concert Health, Co-Founder and CEO of Zero Overdose, and leader of SPiER, an international effort to improve suicide care through technology-enabled solutions. A sought-after speaker who has presented at the White House, Dr. Little has helped advance integrated behavioral healthcare across all 50 states and is the recipient of multiple national honors, including two Lifetime Achievement Awards. She holds a doctorate in psychology and a master's degree in social work.
