Join ICHE Executive Director Kirk Smith for a unique marriage experience located directly on the shores of Lake Michigan in Benton Harbor, MI, a mere two hours from Chicago. The 4 Peas in a Pod retreat includes sessions on:
The Purpose of Marriage
The Problems in Marriage
The Process of Marriage
The Perfection of Marriage
The weekend begins with a dessert welcome at 7:00 p.m. EST on Friday, March 20, 2026. There are two beautiful, lakefront homes that house seven couples, with each bedroom having its own full bath. These homes are about fifteen minutes from one another, with the larger one hosting the sessions. After the homes are filled by the first seven registrants, additional couples can make their own reservations at nearby hotels. The retreat is limited to 12 couples total.
Saturday evening is a time of fellowship at the homes or, if couples prefer, an opportunity to visit local attractions. After Sunday’s breakfast, there will be an informal church service. The weekend will end around noon on Sunday.
