2026 Ky Heritage Jazz Festival at Old Fort Harrod

Join us for 2 days of live jazz, food, and fun at the 2026 Kentucky Heritage Jazz Festival at historic Old Fort Harrod State Park. This is a FREE Event on October 3-4 showcasing 15 regional and national jazz ensembles. Also there will be FREE ADMISSION for festival attendees to tour historic OLD FORT HARROD on Saturday and Sunday daily until 5 pm.
Music from 11 am to 10 pm on Saturday showcasing regional and national jazz combos. And if you like the big band sound, Sunday is our collegiate “big band blast” from 11 am to 6 pm. And MARK YOUR CALENDAR to come join us on Friday night October 2 for our "Taste of New Orleans” kickoff on Main Street in historic Harrodsburg with NOLA jazz and NOLA food, and more family fun.
This is an outdoor event held rain or shine. Please check the weather and plan accordingly. Small pop-up tents and umbrellas are allowed in designated areas at Fort Harrod. Bring a lawn chair for your personal seating.
