This year’s art camp centers on the thing most kids want to learn the most: how to actually draw what they want. Kids will work on drawing techniques that no one else dares to teach at this level. These techniques are the foundation to drawing anything and everything whether it’s from imagination, in a photo, or sitting right in front of them. This isn’t going to be your typical crafty art camp. Prepare your little artists to expand their artistic skills and come out ready to make whatever their heart desires!Classes will be different each week. The best experience will be signing up for both weeks, as week two builds upon week one, but has also been designed to be introductory enough that students only able to attend week two will not feel as though they are behind or missing anything.
2026 Kids Summer Art Camp Schedule:
Week One: June 9th - 12th
Week Two: June 16th - 19th
Group A: Ages 6-9, meets Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Group B: Ages 10-12, meets Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
For Hutchinson Art Center members, a single week costs $30 per child, and both weeks cost $60 per child. For non-members, a single week costs $32 per child and both weeks cost $64 per child.
