2026 Kern County Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Conference

The Independent Living Center of Kern County (ILCKC) is proud to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act by hosting a conference on July 30th and 31st at the Bakersfield Marriott.

This event honors the impact of this landmark legislation and provides advocates, community members, and business leaders with an opportunity to explore accessibility issues affecting people with disabilities. It also serves as a platform for networking and collaboration, empowering attendees to drive positive change in Kern County. Numerous vendors from various disability-related organizations will be present both (2) days to provide resources and information to attendees.

Special Evening Event – Casino Night Fundraiser
On the evening of July 30th from 6:00–9:00 PM, join us for a fun-filled Casino Night (fundraiser) featuring games, prizes, and networking opportunities.
