2026 Kentucky Grazing Conference
About this Event
The Kentucky Grazing Conference is an annual event put on by UK Forages and the Kentucky Master Grazer Educational Program. We are very excited to partner with the Kentucky Sheep and Goat Development Office this year to host a conference focused on production and grazing techniques for small ruminants. This would be a great opportunity for beginning shepherds or veteran herdsmen to attend and learn more about grazing small ruminants.
This year, the conference will take place on October 28th and 29th. On October 28th, we will be hosting the conference in Elizabethtown, KY, and on October 29th, we will be in Winchester, KY. This allows producers in different regions of the state to attend our conference while staying closer to home.
October 28th-Elizabethtown, KY, Hardin County Extension Office, 111 Opportunity Wy, Elizabethtown, KY 42701
October 29th-Winchester, KY, Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Dr, Winchester, KY 40391
PLEASE NOTE: The Kentucky Sheep & Goat Annual Business Meeting will take place at the Winchester location on October 29th!
Our title for this year's conference is Rooted in Resilience: Grazing Small Ruminants in Kentucky. We will be focusing on regenerative practices, drought management, and so much more!
We hope to see you there!
