2026 Kansas City Ride of Silence

Please join the 20th annual Kansas City Ride of Silence (24th year internationally):

Meet Time:         6:30 p.m. for a brief ceremony

Location:            HJ's Youth and Community Center

                           6425 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64113

Ride Info:           6.5 miles starting at 7:00 p.m. to about 7:45 p.m.

We will ride in a slow, silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.

Major Taylor Cycling Club of Kansas City is organizing this 20th annual Kansas City ride. Over 100 bicyclists have been killed in the Kansas City area. The Kansas City ride will honor those and other bicyclists.

Participants of all abilities are invited to join this memorial event. The ride will not exceed 12 mph. We will read the names of those who lost their lives or were injured while riding their bicycles during a brief ceremony, followed by ride protocol, safety instructions, and the ride. Please email any names that may not be on the list.

Please do not park in HJ’s lot as there may be other activities there. There is parking east of the trolley trail near the start, or in the neighborhood.
