2026 Juneteenth Celebration: We Are the Wildest Dreams

Join Community Organizing Alliance (COA) for our annual Juneteenth Celebration at the Benjamin Mays Center at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.

This year’s theme, “We Are the Wildest Dreams,” explores stories across generations — honoring the past, recognizing the present, and imagining the future we continue building together as a community.

Throughout the evening, guests can expect live performances, storytelling, community conversations, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and resources in a welcoming and celebratory space.

Whether you attended last year or are joining us for the first time, we invite you to grab a delicious plate of Bab’s Table’s southern food and be part of our growing community tradition.

Food, Music & Celebration:

Come enjoy an evening filled with food, live performances, music, and celebration. Last year, some of the best moments came from people gathering around tables, sharing meals, reconnecting with friends, and celebrating together in one space filled with energy and joy.

Stories Across Generations:
