What better place to celebrate the freedom of our ancestors than somewhere they were never enslaved. ��This Juneteenth, we invite the entire Black diaspora to gather in Hawaiʻi and celebrate liberation in paradise.
Our Hawaiian cousins know the weight of colonization too, and together we honor our ancestors, our culture, and our resilience.
On Friday, June 19 the community comes together at the Waikīkī Shell for the Juneteenth Block Party.
Good music.
Good food.
Black joy under the Hawaiian sun.
A FREE celebration for the entire community.
