2026 Inaugural Becker County Walk for Hunger

Hunger is a real issue here in Becker County. Become a part of our efforts to raise funds and awareness of food insecurity with our inaugural Walk for Hunger!
On Sunday, September 27th at 1pm join us in a 3K (1.8 mile) walk beginning at Becker County Highway Department, 1771 N Tower Rd in Detroit Lakes. Parking is available in the South Lot. The entire walk will be along a flat paved trail from Tower Road to Richwood Road, ending at the Pantry (610 Terry St) with an open house with food and refreshments. A free shuttle ride will be available for participants back to parking.

Registration via credit card, Paypal, or Google Pay can be completed here: https://www.givemn.org/story/45ijhf We'll also have registration on-site at the Highway Department lot from noon to 1pm. A suggested registration fee donation of $25 per person or $50 a family will also include a free insulated grocery bag when pre-registration is received by 9/8/26.
