35 miler at the Nordic Trailhead (N9084 Cty Rd H, Whitewater). 7:30 am group start. The run will be marked and cover the Nordic Loop (Section 1) and the out-and-back to Rice Lake (Section 2). We’ll have a minimalist aid station set up at Hwy 12 (appx 18 & 26 miles) with water, Hammer Heed, soda, and snacks.
Parking Passes: You will need a state park pass to park at Nordic. The Wisconsin DNR has introduced a number of changes to its park pass policies and pricing. The brown parking envelopes will no longer be available at unstaffed park entrances, so the DNR strongly suggests purchasing your passes online at Vehicle Admission Passes | Wisconsin State Park System | Wisconsin DNR - https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/admission
The Race Director will be on hand if you’d like shorter distance options.
EVERYONE is welcome (you do not need to be registered for the 2026 Ice Age Races to participate). We’ll see you on Saturday!
