2026 Hoosiers Outrun Cancer

Join us Saturday, October 3 for the oldest and largest 5K event in Indiana, starting and finishing on the North side of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall!
Hoosiers Outrun Cancer is a community celebration of all the amazing people (we all know someone) who have faced cancer in our community. Teams are formed around people being honored or remembered to show our collective support and the strength in our community when we all work together.
100% of the proceeds raised from Hoosiers Outrun Cancer provide free cancer support services to anyone impacted by cancer (patients, survivors, families, caregivers, and friends). These supports include counseling, health and wellness classes, therapy, social activities and events, direct financial assistance, and so much more.
Funds raised from past Hoosiers Outrun Cancer events made it possible to open a new Cancer Support Community location in Bloomington, Indiana located at 1719 W 3rd Street, so that no one faces cancer alone in our community!
