City Clerk Brenna Murphy Leary will take the oath of office, and then will administer the oaths to Mayor Joshua A. Garcia, as well as newly elected and re-elected City Councilors and School Committee members at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 5th, 2026. The inauguration ceremony, which will be held in the upstairs auditorium, is open to the public.
Doors will open at 9:30.
The Holyoke High School Madrigal Choir will sing the National Anthem. Mayor Joshua A. Garcia will make brief remarks.
Immediately after the ceremony, the City Council will convene to their chambers to elect a Council President.
