2026 Highline Hold'em Mountain Bike Poker Run
About this Event
The Highline Hold'em is a 9-mile mountain bike poker run on the 260 trail outside of Payson, Az. Riders will be shuttled from the Landmark Restaurant in Christopher Creek up to the 260 Trailhead, where they'll ride the iconic Highline Trail to the See Canyon Trailhead and then down forest road 284 back to the Landmark. Along the way, riders will receive 7 playing cards to create a 5 card poker hand. Once back at the Landmark, the top poker hands will have their choice of prizes.
All riders will receive a Highline Hold'em 2026 T-Shirt with a paid entry fee.
Proceeds from the Highline Hold'em go to the maintaining and improving the Highline. This trail boasts over 63 miles of continous singletrack stretching from the 260 Trailhead all the way to Pine along the base of the Mogollon Rim.
Last year, professional crews were working on this stretch to make it even better. That work is done and this section is better than it’s ever been. In addition, a brand new optional reroute is completed that gives riders a choice of either taking the traditional fast "Malpractice" downhill, or the new altnerate Highline flowy line.
All the major reroutes along the over the entire 63 miles Highline Trail are officially complete and ready for your next adventure!
Money raised from the Hold'em will go to installing new signage, and help pay professional crews for maintenance and improvements along this one of a kind trail.

Prizes include a new GoPro, prize packages from Absolute Bikes, a Sedona Mountain Bike Academy prize package, a Garmin Instinct watch, custom cornhole boards, a two night RV rental from Garvin RV Adventures, and more!
The ride will be split into three waves.
The 9:45am wave is for less experienced riders or those who want to take a slower pace.
The 10:30am wave is for intermediate riders.
The 11:15am wave is for advanced or faster riders.
These times are approximate - as soon as we have trucks and vans full of riders and bikes, we'll be sending them up to the trailhead.
All poker hands need to be turned in by 1:15pm to be eligible for prizes.
Junior riders are welcome to participate at a reduced rate. They won't receive cards, but will still get a t-shirt, raceplate, and shuttle. Junior riders must be accompanied by an adult rider.
