FAQs

What is the refund policy?

Attendees can receive refunds up to 30 DAYS before the event start date of April 8 - so, March 9 deadline. (MINUS the Eventbrite and payment processing fees of approximately 6% total - HUG will NOT absorb the fees on any refund requests - they go back to Eventbrite, not HUG).

Is there a hotel discount for the event?

Yes! There is a block of rooms reserved for our event at a discounted price. Must book rooms by March 16, 2026 to guarantee the rate, or until the hotel is sold out (whichever is sooner). We typically sell out, so book early!

HUG RATE at the Loews Arlington: $ 229/night plus fees/taxes. This rate will be honored for 3 days before the event and 3 days following the event. Hotel cancellation policy is 48 hours in advance.

Parking: $30 overnight/$18 for day visitors

Will there be a virtual option this year?

No, this will be an in-person meeting only.

When will the detailed agenda be available, with presenters, rooms, etc. so I can register for specific sessions?

A final agenda will be published in early December, and you will be able to RSVP for sessions at the end of February.

What is the dress code?

Business casual or casual for meetings

Will there be a mobile conference app this year?

Yes, we will be using Whova again for 2026, where you can register for specific classes - this will be available in February (then you can build a personal agenda within the app).
