WHAT: Group Run to log your miles for the virtual Run For The Trees: Happy Little 5k.HOSTS: Ludington Run Club & Friends of the Ludington State Park
WHO IS INVITED: Runners/Walkers (kids and leashed dogs welcome!)
WHERE: Ludington State Park - Hamlin Lake Pavilion
WHEN: Saturday, April 25 at 9am
WHY: The Happy Little 5k is a fundraiser for the Michigan DNR. Proceeds support tree planting and forest protection efforts – such as invasive plant and forest pest management and early detection surveys – in Michigan state parks and recreation areas. This group run will be a fun way to log our miles for this virtual race while enjoying our state park’s beautiful trails.

Register for the Happy Little 5k BEFORE THE APRIL 1ST DEADLINE!

RSVP to the group run so we know how many people to expect:

BEFORE THE GROUP RUN
Wear your tshirt and bib (if you registered)
Gather near the pavilion at the Hamlin Lake beach area.
Bathrooms will be open.
Route will be posted.
We will take a group photo to share on social media
THE RUN
This is a group fun run! It is not timed!
Run or walk the course
Orange flags will help you navigate the way
There will be water at the finish line (none on the course)
AFTER THE RUN
Fuel back up with fruit, coffee, hot chocolate . and marshmallows thanks to the Friends of the Ludington State Park.
Enjoy comradery around a campfire with fellow runner/walkers.
