The Great Midwest Rugby Conference is proud to present the 2026 Great Midwest 7s D2 Qualifier and the Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex welcomes everyone to Cottage Grove for a terrific day of rugby! This event will see sixteen teams from eight - yes eight - states competing for an NCR D2 National Qualifier bid. Below are the details for the entire day.WHEN: Saturday, April 11th, 2026

MATCH SCHEDULE: The schedule and pools will be released in the weeks leading up to 4/11 and will be posted here and shown in the cover photo of this event page.
TEAM CHECK-INS: All teams will need to check-in with GMW 7s matchday roster and photo ID for each player prior to playing their first match.
PARKING: Please make sure to park on Clark Street, Grove Street, Progress Dr., Fireman's Park or at the surface lot on Vilas Rd. The two entrances to the Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex will be the gated entrances on Clark Street and from the Vilas Rd. surface lot.
There will be a $5 admission (cash preferred) applicable to all spectators which helps offset the cost of the venue. We ask that spectators bring small bills ($5 and $10) as ability to make change will be limited.
Athletic trainers will be available a half hour prior to the first match of the day and will remain until the final match has concluded on both pitches. There will be accessible locker rooms for all teams competing.
There are bathroom facilities onsite although NO PETS are allowed inside the fenced area unless approved ESA animals with proper ESA documentation.
ALL participants, fans, and supporters must enter the complex through the gated entrance on Clark or Vilas Street.
There will be NO ALCOHOL carry-ins permitted at the facility although the newly finished clubhouse has a bar inside that will be open for business. We appreciate your cooperation in adherence to this policy. There will be a food truck onsite.
