The 2026 Grand Lagoon Billfish Classic is set for August 5–9, 2026, at Lighthouse Marina in Panama City Beach, Florida!
After a great inaugural year in 2025, we’re excited to bring back the Grand Lagoon Billfish Classic with an improved format, more fishing time, and more ways for teams to compete and win.
The tournament will kick off with the mandatory Captain’s Meeting on Wednesday, August 5. Teams may depart from any pass between Apalachicola and Fort Walton Beach no earlier than 12:00 PM CT on Thursday, August 6. Scales will be open Saturday, August 8 from 5:00–8:00 PM at Lighthouse Marina.
Base entry is $1,600 per team, plus applicable sales tax, and includes the following award categories:
Tournament Champion
2nd Place Team
3rd Place Team
Top Tuna
Top Dolphin
Top Wahoo
Top Boat 32’ or Less
Top Lady Angler
Top Junior Angler
There will also be optional cash award categories available for teams looking to compete for additional payouts, including:
White Marlin
Swordfish
Catch & Release
Dolphin
Wahoo
Tuna
Optional entry levels will be available at $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, and $5,000 per category.
We’re looking forward to another great year of competitive fishing, big payouts, and a great crowd at the scales in Grand Lagoon.
