2026 Golden Spoke Ride

Celebrate Bike Month with the Ninth Annual Golden Spoke Ride! This FREE, family-friendly cycling event is a safe and exciting way to explore the expanding Golden Spoke Trail Network that connects more than 100 miles of trail across the central Wasatch Front Region from Ogden to Provo. Join our growing bike community, discover new trails, and elevate your cycling skills.

This year’s event includes two routes, with multiple starting points, offering riders choices of distance and difficulty. Learn more about the options below, before you register. Whether you're new to cycling, or are a seasoned expert, this ride offers something for everyone.

Register early to order a free UTA transit pass, to help you get to and from the event using FrontRunner, TRAX and regular bus routes. Ride start and end points generally have convenient transit connections. The first 400 registrants will also receive a $10 voucher toward food and drink at the End of Ride Celebration.

Commemorative Golden Spoke event T-shirts can be purchased for $10 with orders placed by April 30. A small number of additional T-shirts in the most popular sizes may be available for purchase at the End of Ride Celebration while supplies last.

The End of Ride Celebration will include food trucks, music, giveaways, community booths, a post ride yoga flow and family friendly activities, including yard games, bird viewing with Audubon, and a community art project!
