ENTRY DEADLINE:

- Acceptance is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Unpaid entries are considered incomplete and will not be included in the tournament draw.

AGE CATEGORIES: Open / U17 Juniors / 30+ Masters
U17 = born on or after January 1st, 2010
30+ = born on or before August 1st, 1996
Players who have registered but are ineligible for the age category will be automatically moved into the Open category.
EVENT CATEGORIES:
- Men’s & Women’s Singles
- Men’s & Women’s Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
A player may only enter a maximum of ONE singles, ONE doubles, and ONE mixed doubles event; and can participate in two age categories.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Introducing the New BWF APPROVED 3x15 Scoring System
- Matches are played to best of 3 sets
- Each set is up to 15 points. Deuce at 14-all, up to 21 points
- Change of ends takes place between each set and at 8 points in the third set
- ABCD Drop Flight (minimum 3 matches) for draw sizes of 16 or more entries
- ACD Drop Flight (minimum 2 matches) for draw sizes below 16 entries
- All players play their first match in the “A” flight (main draw);
- Losers of their first match drop down to the “C” flight;
- Losers of their second match in “A” drop down to the “B” flight (when applicable);
- Losers of their first match in “C” drop down to the “D” flight;
- Keep winning to stay in your flight!
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
Saturday, August 1st - All Men’s/Women’s Singles (9:00am start, FINALS on the same day)
Sunday, August 2nd - All Men’s/Women’s Doubles (9:00am start, FINALS on the same day)
Monday, August 3rd - All Mixed Doubles (9:00am start, FINALS on the same day)
Each event is completed on their respective dates.
DOOR PRIZES:
Each participant will receive ONE tournament raffle ticket for each registered event at check-in. Players may only receive one ticket each day, and each ticket will only be entered into the raffle of that day.
Raffle tickets will be drawn throughout the day and results will be displayed on monitors at the Club.
Prizes that are not picked up on the same day will be held until August 3rd at 11:59pm at the latest.
HIGH PERFORMANCE AWARDS - Powered by YONEX CANADA
- All players who win their first match in the “A” flight (main draw) will receive ONE ticket to the high performance raffle; and,
- All players who win their second match (in either “A” or “C” flights) will receive TWO tickets to the high performance raffle.
- Each player can receive up to a maximum of THREE high performance raffle tickets. HP raffle tickets will only be entered into the HP raffle of that day.
The HP raffle will be drawn once all first and second matches of the event have been played and results will be displayed on monitors at the Club.
Prizes that are not picked up on the same day will be held until August 3rd at 11:59pm at the latest.
AWARDS:
Trophies and medals will be awarded to all finalists. This tournament will feature exclusive prizes and awards.
