❤️ The Gavin Tipper Race is held in memory of Gavin with all proceeds from the race going to Action Heart.
Gavin was a member of DK Rugby Club playing for many years and is part of DK Rugby history by scoring DK’s only try at Twickenham.
🚴♂️ After retiring from the game, he gave something back to sport by coaching children at Black Country Triathletes, Tipton Harriers as well as Halesowen cycling. His encouragement of children in sport and passion for everybody taking part is one of the reasons the Gavin Tipper 5K is so popular.
🏟 Held here at DK Rugby Club, entirely off road on the pitches. Children can run but under 12s must run with an adult.
