The Fontana Exchange Club, in partnership with the City of Fontana, is proud to announce the 2026 Fontana Days Parade!

📅 Saturday, May 2, 2026

🦅 Pre-Show begins at 9:30 AM
⏰ Parade begins at 10:00 AM
📍 Downtown Fontana

✨ 2026 Theme:
“HOME OF THE FREE…BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE: AMERICA 250”

This year, we celebrate America’s 250th birthday by honoring the brave men and women who have served in our Armed Forces. 🇺🇸

🎖️ Special Invitation to ALL Veterans
All veterans from across the region are invited to serve as Co-Grand Marshals and ride in a place of honor at the front of the parade.

• 🕤 9:30 AM – Pre-show & Veteran Honor Ceremony
  📍 Sierra Ave & Arrow Blvd
• 🎺 10:00 AM – Parade begins
• 🏁 11:00 AM – Parade concludes

📍 Check-In:
🕢 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM
📌 In front of the Fontana Chamber of Commerce (8491 Sierra Ave)

🚗 Parade Route:
Start at Sierra Ave & Arrow Blvd → Head South on Sierra →
Turn East on Orange Way → North on Mango Ave →
West on Arrow Blvd → End at Miller Park

🎶💃 PARADE COMPETITIONS

🥁 Battle of the Bands

• School/nonprofit bands (10+ members + adult supervisor)
• 🎯 Judged in first 30 seconds (Sierra → Orange Way)
• 🎵 Live music only (no recordings!)
• Criteria: Musicality, showmanship, theme, crowd engagement

💃 City Street Dance Off

• School/nonprofit teams (5+ performers + adult supervisor)
• 🎯 Judged in first 30 seconds
• 🔊 Portable sound only
• Criteria: Choreography, energy, theme, crowd appeal

🎨 Best in Float Competition

• Open to schools, businesses, nonprofits
• Must reflect the America 250 theme 🇺🇸
• Criteria: Creativity, design, theme, overall impact
  ⚠️ Minimum of 5 floats required for competition

🤝 Community Collaboration Encouraged!
Businesses are encouraged to partner with school clubs or nonprofit youth groups to build floats and showcase community pride 🙌

🇺🇸 As part of our commitment to Americanism and honoring our heroes, the parade will also feature tributes to local service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice or were POWs.
