2026 Follies Specialty Act Open Auditions

Due to high demand for performing in the 2026 Holly Jolly Follies C.R.O.W. will be holding Open Auditions for the limited variety/specialty act spaces available.
Auditions will be held Saturday, Sept. 19th at 11 AM at 3120 Hwy 101 in Florence. Auditions are open to the general public, and anyone is welcome to attend.
The show will be presented Dec 4-6 at the Florence Events Center (4 performances: Fri/Sat at 7 pm, Sat/Sun at 2 pm).

HOW TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS:
1) Please begin working on your act NOW. You must show us the exact piece you are proposing for the show. Available categories include musical instrument or vocal solos/duos/small groups/large groups, dances, comedic acts or skits, circus/special talent/other specialty acts, etc. Or....something new we've never seen? Bring it!
2) Maximum length for each act is 3 minutes.
3) Please bring your music on a phone/iPad/etc. to connect to our speaker.
4) Although the piece does not have to be finished or polished, the more you can show us the better.
5) We strongly prefer acts that fit our theme in some way. At minimum, it must have a holiday/winter/Christmas theme.
6) All acts must be family friendly.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
This audition is for variety/specialty acts ONLY.
C.R.O.W.'s Dance class participants (specified classes) do not need to audition.
To be in the Follies Ensemble only, you do NOT need to audition.
WANT TO BE IN THE FOLLIES ENSEMBLE?
The first all-cast read through/rehearsal for the Follies will be Monday, Nov 2nd at 6:30 PM at C.R.O.W. (3120 HWY 101 in Florence) for anyone who wishes to be in the Ensemble or have a few spoken lines, etc. All you have to do is show up to the first rehearsal and sign up on Dance Studio Pro to complete waivers, etc. (Note: Young or behaviorally challenged children may not participate without an adult onstage directly supervising them. Please reach out with questions.) There is no cost to participate. Backstage and technical theatre volunteers are also needed.
The C.R.O.W. Production team also reserves the right to invite or accept any variety/specialty act without an audition. If you are unsure whether you should audition, please ask for guidance.
