Join us at the 7th Annual Fibre Spirit Festival on Saturday August 29th, 2026 from 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Barrie Curling Club (175 Essa Road) in Barrie, ON.
Our marketplace features over 55 local fibre vendors and artists from the Ontario and Canadian fibre community. You'll find hand-dyed yarn, notions, project bags, weaving, needle felting, kits, pottery, accessories, and more!
Free parking is available on-site, or a less than 5 minute walk at the Essa Carpool Lot. Easy access to the Barrie Curling Club via Go Train / Barrie Transit, with a bus stop right in front of the curling club.
Tickets are $5. Children 12 and under are free.

Classes and workshops will be running throughout the day:
10:30am - Introduction to Natural Dyeing
10:30am - Roosimine, Roositud, or Inlay Knitting
1:30pm - Visible Mending
1:30pm - Continuous Strand Weaving on a Triangle Loom
1:30pm - Felt Like Doodling
1:30pm - That Magical Mitered Square
1:30pm - Needle Felted Pendants
1:30pm - Tunisian Crochet for Beginners
