2026 Far Western 2 Recruiting Combine

The 2026 Far Western 2 Recruiting Combine will be held on April 16th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Reno Sparks Convention Center and is open to any current 8th grade and high school age player (FEMALE ONLY), regardless if they are participating in the Far Western National Qualifier or not.

THIS IS A COLLEGE COACH ATTENDED AND A VIDEO RECORDED COMBINE!

20+ Coaches annually attend!

The Far Western 2 Recruiting Combine Video Recording and Player Information packet will be sent to EVERY college in CA/OR/WA/NV/ID/AZ/WY/MT/CO/UT!!!!

The Player's name will be on a registered list, and at Combine check in, each player will be given a bib #, so college coaches can easily match player and contact information. Players should wear normal volleyball practice gear (no need to wear uniforms or shirts with a number on them).

Volleyball players will be divided by position and graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them. Multiple courts will be used at the Reno Sparks CC, with each court having a "court coach", to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches.

The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets.

For the parents, there will be a Combine Update and Recruiting Education session presented by a 15 year NCAA Division I Head Coach while the players are in the Combine!

Parents are welcome at Check In and to remain in the Convention Center but are not allowed into the Combine, per the request of the college coaches - This allows the players to focus on skills and the college coaches to focus on evaluations.

***Please note - Because of the limited number of openings in the Far Westerns Recruiting Combine, cancellations will not be refunded within 48 hours of the Combine or post event.
