2026 Family Day at the Dairy Farm (General Admission and Sponsorships)

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, the University of Florida’s Dairy Unit in Hague will host its eighth “Family Day at the Dairy Farm”, a free Open House for the public. Visitors will see a real working dairy farm, learn about dairy production, farm equipment and animal health, and hear veterinarians and professors explain research and animal care that helps provide top-quality milk to Floridians.

General admission is free and no tickes are needed. Visit anytime between 9am and 2pm.

Dear prospective Sponsor,

We expect up to 2000 visitors this year, after the successes in 2012 (850 visitors), 2013 (1500 visitors), 2016 (800 visitors while raining), 2017 (1600 visitors), 2018 (1600 visitors), 2019 (2000 visitors), and 2023 (1500 visitors). Visitors are primarily families living in the greater Gainesville area. Family Day at the Dairy Farm is publicized with advertisements in magazines, newspapers, and social media.
