2026 Faith in Detroit Writing Workshop

Be a part of the first annual Summer Writing Workshop of the Faith in Detroit Initiative, hosted at Christ Church Cranbrook and created by the Center for Public Humanities at Oakland University and Christ Church Cranbrook.

The Workshop will feature generative sessions, panels, and keynote speaker Emily Bernard. The Faith in Detroit journal and workshop is directed by Kathy Pfeiffer. Other panelists include Mark Stryker, Billy Mark, William Danaher and Susan McCarty. Hosted on the beautiful campus of Christ Church Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, all sessions are free and open to all.

The workshop runs from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon. Attend the whole workshop or pick the days you wish to attend. Please indicate which days so we can get a count for the lunch.

The workshop and meals are free and paid for by Christ Church Cranbrook.
