Youth Football Camp (Students Entering Grades 1-6)

The objective of this football camp is to provide expert instruction and opportunity for individuals of different ages and abilities to develop the techniques to become an improved football player. Participants will be supervised by the End Zone Football Academy coaching staff. The coaching staff will be comprised of local high school coaches, youth coaches, and current high school players.

The camp will be located at Herlinger Field on the campus of Richland High School. The field is located adjacent to the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Campus and registration will occur at the fieldhouse complex.

Campers should wear workout gear appropriate to the weather such as a t-shirt, shorts, or sweats. Football spikes should be worn if available.

* The first 100 registered campers will receive a FREE camp t-shirt.

Offense

Quarterbacks – Stance, Center Exchange, Dropback, Sprintout, Ball Release, Follow Through, Ball Handling, Running, Faking, and Leadership Strategies

Running Backs – Stance, Release, Ball Handling, Faking, Ball Carrying, Running, Cutting, Blocking, Pass Receiving, Pass Patterns

Centers – Stance, Exchange, Blocking, Release, Short and Long Snaps, Shotgun, Pass Blocking

Receivers – Stance, Release, Pass Patterns, Pass Catching, Blocking

Line – Stance, Alignment, Blocking

Defense

Line – Stance, Release, Alignment, Pass Rush, Reaction, Agility, Tackling, Stunting, Blitzing

Linebacker – Stance, Keys and Reads, Pass Drops, Pursuit, Tackling, Blitzing
