2026 EMFV Interest Meeting, Carteret County

Do you love cooking, nutrition, or helping others learn about healthy eating? Join the Extension Master Food Volunteer Program and make a difference in your community! The interest meeting will be August 7th at the Carteret County Center. If you are interested in the training and accepted into the program the training will begin in October and finish in November.

What You’ll Do:
As an Extension Master Food Volunteer, you’ll:
- Assist with cooking demonstrations and nutrition classes for adults and youth.
- Support local initiatives like food banks and schools.
- Advocate for healthier communities through better food choices.
Training Details:
You will an opportunity to join us for our interest meeting to learn about the program, meeting the FCS Agent and fill out an application.
- Location: Carteret County Center (303 College Circle, Morehead City, NC 28557)
- Date: August 7th, 202
- Time: 10:30am-12pm
No prior experience required! We will provide all the training you need. You just need a passion for food, health, and community.
