2026 Electric City Maker Faire

The Electric City Maker Faire will return to Union College’s beautiful campus on October 4th 2026!

This event is free and open to the public. There will be a variety of exhibitors displaying their work and hosting demonstrations, workshops and hands-on activities for every age, from K-12 and up! Plus food trucks and outdoor activities and games!

The Maker Faire brings together a broad range of participants from Union College, Schenectady and the Capital District, including faculty and students, local makers, small businesses, high school STEAM programs, First Robotics, local Maker Spaces and many others to promote making, hands-on learning, STEAM education and community connection.

It promises to be a fun and educational day intended to create connections between Union College and the community and to strengthen the network of creatives, technologists and makers at Union, in Schenectady, the Capital District and beyond!
