About this Event
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This annual training opportunity for City Council members, Planning & Zoning Commissioners, Zoning Board of Adjustment members, and other elected and appointed officials will cover the fundamentals of planning and zoning, planning law, development review, and ethics. The event is designed primarily as an introduction to planning and zoning for newer officials, but can also serve as a refresher course for more seasoned officials.
COST: $50
WHEN: Friday, August 7, 2026
Doors open 8:30 a.m.
Event 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: The Grand Hall at NRH Centre
6000 Hawk Avenue, North Richland Hills
Grand Hall entry is located at the circle drive porte-cochere
PARKING: Park in the NRH Centre lot or the adjacent NRH Library parking lot
DRINKS: Coffee, soft drinks, and water available
LUNCH: Cristina's Fine Mexican fajita bar lunch provided.
MATERIALS: Notepads and pens will be available upon request. Not all speakers will have printouts
