The Edmonton International Cat Festival, Canada's biggest celebration of cats, cat culture and cat people, returns Sunday, May 31, 2026! Join us for the most AMEOWZING day of PAW-some fun in downtown Edmonton that also raises money and awareness to support rescues helping cats in need! The Edmonton Cat Festival donates 100% of proceeds to local cat rescues!! Since 2014 through our annual cat events, we’ve raised $187,000 for local rescues helping cats in need.
The Sunday, May 31, 2026 festival will be held at:

PLEASE NOTE: Our 2026 event takes place on a SUNDAY this year, instead of our typical Caturday, due to a venue conflict.
There will be Edmonton's biggest cat-themed market (our Vendor Meowcatplace), a bunch of CATivities, adoptable kittens to cuddle, cat-themed presentations, cat art, cat games, CELEBRITY CAT meet & greets, and so meowch more! Check our website http://edmontoncatfest.com for purr-gramming updates!!
