Hi everyone! With the roller hockey season right around the corner, we wanted to share an important update with our community. Beginning in the 2026 season, the Ants Albano Memorial Roller Hockey Tournament will officially be renamed the Eastie Roller Hockey Cup.
While the name is changing, the heart behind it remains the same. The love, respect, and lasting impact of Anthony “Ants” Albano will forever be a cornerstone of this tournament and the East Boston community. His legacy will continue to live on through every game played and every player who takes the court.
This transition reflects the growth and future of the tournament, while staying deeply rooted in the values, tradition, and community spirit that made it so special from the very beginning.
We want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported this tournament over the years. Your dedication is what keeps it going strong, and we’re looking forward to another incredible tournament. The tournament will be held on August 15th and August 16th. Be on the lookout for more details and team registration coming soon.
