2026 DOGWOOD SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
OCTOBER 10TH, 12-5PM
FREE EVENT open to everyone.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
-Imagine Foundry's fully interactive kids area with inflatables and crafts.
-The Society for Creative Anachronism's mini-shire full of crafters and warriors ready to share their trades and skills.
-Armored battles!
-Artists creating live painting throughout the festival at their booths.
-A photo station with SparrowMoose photography
-Bite-sized Shakespearean performance from the students at Peachtree Learning Center
-Free lessons in rubber stamp carving (while supplies last)
- Delicious dirty sodas from Southern Swirl
- Courtly dance lessons from the TTU Swing Dance Club
- Hearty laughter provided by Cookeville Improv
-A Shakespearean Monologue Competition sponsored by Plenty Bookshop (prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners)
- Madrigal musical performances from Cookeville Mastersingers
-A Insult Contest sponsored by Dream Country Brewing.
- A FULL DAY OF FUN IN THE PARK
