Save the date for the 5th Annual Dix Park Inter-Tribal Pow Wow!
Hosted in partnership with indigenous community organizers, Dix Park Conservancy and the City of Raleigh.
Experience a day of competition dancing, music, vendors, and fun showcasing the incredible legacy and culture of Indigenous communities living in North Carolina today.

Know Before You Go
- This event is rain or shine.
- In the case of inclement weather, the event may be postponed or canceled.
- In the event of severe weather during the event, the park will be cleared and visitors will be asked to return to their vehicles.
- Look for event updates on our social media pages and dixpark.org.
What to Bring
- Lawn chairs and picnic blankets
- Refillable water bottles.
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended as the event site is grass covered and has uneven ground.
- Dogs are permitted, but please use your best judgment as we’re expecting a lot of people, so it will likely be crowded and loud. All dogs must be leashed, well-behaved and clean up after them.

Accessibility
Dix Park continues to strive to be accessible and welcoming for visitors, including those with disabilities. Currently, portions of Dix Park, including some areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. Accessibility is a primary focus for early park improvements and all future planning and development.
Parking: Accessible parking spaces are available in all lots.
Restrooms: Indoor accessible restrooms are available at the Stone Houses. Accessible port-a-johns are located at the event site.
