What You Need To Know
Veterinarians may sign up for one or both days. The early bird registration only applies to a two-day ticket, there is no early discount on one-day ticket. Registration is restricted to veterinarians only for attending sessions, although the veterinarian ticket holder may purchase (for an additional fee) a guest ticket for the Seafood Buffet being held Monday evening. The cost of the Seafood Buffet is included in the November 4 ticket for registered veterinarians.
Speakers
Dr. Lauren Charnock, DVM MS DACVO
Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Charnock earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, followed by a rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. She then completed a specialty internship and a residency in comparative ophthalmology at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, while concurrently earning a master’s degree in veterinary biomedical sciences, focusing on refractive error in equine eyes following corneal surgical procedures. She has been an Assistant Professor of Clinical Veterinary Ophthalmology at the University of California, Davis since 2022.
Dr. Carrie Finno, DVM PhD DACVIM
Dr. Carrie Finno is a veterinary clinician scientist with a PhD in comparative pathology and post-doctorate training in comparative genomics. She has a strong commitment to biomedical research in the field of translational inherited neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Finno has published over 120 papers. In the field of veterinary medicine, she has defined the clinical phenotypes and identified the associated genetic mutations for five newly described diseases in horses. The focus of her translational research is the interplay of vitamin E and neurodegeneration using animal models.

Early Bird Registration
Early bird registration only applies to a two-day registration ticket.
The two-day early bird registration rate is $575.00 plus Eventbrite fees plus GST (early bird rate is only available until midnight Sunday October 18, 2025).
Regular Registration
The two-day registration rate is effective starting Monday October 19, 2025. The rate is $595.00 plus Eventbrite fees plus GST.
The one-day registration rate is $450.00 plus Eventbrite fees plus GST.
New Graduate Veterinarian (2026 grad)
The rate for a new 2026 graduate veterinarian is $225.00 plus Eventbrite fees plus GST.
Retired Veterinarian
The rate for a retired veterinarian is $225.00 plus Eventbrite fees plus GST
Guest Seafood Buffet ticket is $88 plus Eventbrite fees plus GST (this is a guest ticket for the seafood buffet; the price of the buffet is included for the veterinarian in the November 3 ticket).

Cancellation
Sunday October 18, 2026 is the last day for a full refund (not including Eventbrite fees). There will be no refunds after October 18, 2026.
