The 6th Annual Deep Roots Festival, hosted by the Lake Agassiz Chapter of the Sustainable Farming Association, is a family-friendly celebration of all things local food! Spend the afternoon at Pure Joy Farm enjoying farmer and producer education, artisan goods, farm tours, hands-on activities, live music, and a farm-to-table meal featuring ingredients sourced throughout our region.
2:00 PM | Festival Opens
Local artisan vendors + crafts and a hands-on food art station for kids of all ages will be available throughout the afternoon.

Enjoy live music from singer-songwriter Anthony Miltich, with part of his set providing a relaxed backdrop to the evening meal.

• Keep the Good Ones: Seed Saving Basics
🍽️ 4:30 PM | Farm-to-Table Meal
Gather around the table for a catered meal by The Crowded Table, featuring ingredients sourced extensively from farms and food producers throughout our region.
🎶 6:00-7:00 PM | Di Bayke Klezmer Band
Enjoy live klezmer music as the band carries us through the final hour of the festival.
Throughout the Festival | 2-7 PM
🌿 Local artisan vendors + crafts
🎨 Hands-on food art station for kids of all ages
🤝 Opportunities to connect with farmers, producers, community partners, and neighbors
Tickets are limited, so reserve yours early! Volunteers are also needed and warmly encouraged to join us.
