2026 De Margerie Lectures on Christian Reconciliation and UnityThis is a two-lecture series on Christian Martyrdom and the Unity of the Church. This year's lecturer is Dr. Jeremy Bergen, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Theological Studies at Conrad Grebel University College, at the University of Waterloo.
Lecture 1, titled "The Ecumenism of Blood: Solidarity in Trying Times" will be held at Campion College in Regina on Wednesday, January 21.
Lecture 2, "Christians Killing Christians: Reconciling Violent Pasts and Conflicting Martyrdoms" will be held at St. Thomas More College in Saskatoon on Thursday, January 22.
The two lectures complement each other and will be available in-person as well as via livestream at bit.ly/Demargerie2026.
