2026 DC Tweed Ride

The start of 2026 DC Tweed Ride revisits Lincoln Park for a point-to-point route that takes us across the river into Virginia via the 14th St. Bridge for an extended lunch break by the Lyndon B. Johnson Memorial Park. We’ll return to DC via the Key Bridge, slip through the heart of Georgetown and an end at Logan Circle. Our route is just over ten miles! Our ride passes by the U.S. Capitol, cruises through the Washington Mall, skirts by the Washington Monument and takes in the Jefferson Memorial.
We meet on November at 11AM in Lincoln Park. Our Ride Begins at 12PM. The park is easily accessible via Union Station, Eastern Market and the Stadium-Armory metro stations. The nearest coffee shop is the Wine & Butter Cafe & Market at 1023 East Capitol St SE.
Bring goodies for a long break at The Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove. For those who can’t mange the bike ride but want to join us for some fun, meet us for a picnic lunch! The LBJ memorial is accessible by car. Parking is available at the park. See the link for directions from the GW Parkway.
There should be plenty of free street parking around Logan Circle for those arriving from out of town. Our hang out at Logan Circle will be brief due to the early sunset.
