2026 VIKING CRUISE SHIP VISITSAlgoma, WI is looking forward to the arrival of the Viking Polaris and Viking Octantis cruise ships and their passengers in 2026! The cruise ship will moor offshore in Lake Michigan and cruise guests who choose to disembark will ferry to shore and enjoy excursions that include Algoma and the surrounding area.
You are invited to join us on the lakeshore where you can watch the ships arrive and depart. Come to the Algoma Marina and greet the passengers as they disembark! *Arrival and departure times may vary at the Captain's discretion. Stay tuned for updates.

Make and Take Magnets
Stop by the Creation Station to create a magnet featuring your own photograph! We will have the dye sublimation equipment set up and you can use a photo from your phone to memorialize a part of your trip. It takes about 15 minutes, and cost is $4 per magnet.

Pottery Wheel Demonstrations
Pottery demonstrations on the potter’s wheel will be in action all day. Visitors are free to put their hands on a spinning pot. Small plates and cups with Great Lakes designs will be on display and at a discount. Ceramic sculptures, pottery, paintings and prints from local artists are exhibited daily. Grab a cup of water and get to know the Algoma art scene.
