This tournament is open to all Ohio members of the USBC. Bowlers who are not members of the Central Ohio -USBC must pay the local fee of $13.
Bowlers must have a minimum of 9 games bowled in an Ohio certified league in any of the last 5 years.
The entry fee is $100 per bowler - $10 lineage; $85 prize fund; $5 administrative fee.
Walk-ins will be accepted until 15 minutes prior to the start time, providing lanes are available. Maximum number of entries will be 120.
Tournament format:
Bowl 5 games of qualifying
Cut to top 16 for match play (based on 64 entries)
All matches will be 2-game total pinfall – winner advances
Single elimination bracket
Ties to determine last qualifying spot for match play will be determined by a 9th-10th frame roll-off.
Ties during match play will be determined by a 9th-10th frame roll-off.
Ties to determine the seed numbers will be determined by the high game of those tied.
Tournament will be bowled on the COUSBC Masters pattern.
Payout ratio will be 1:4
All other rules will be governed by the USBC.
The Tournament Director will have the final say in all matters.
