2026 Cops and Bobbers

The Elk River Police Department is excited to host its first-ever Cops and Bobbers event on Tuesday, June 23, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Orono Park Fishing Pier.
This summer event allows kids to meet and fish with Elk River police officers, all while building trust and better relationships.
Supplies and equipment will be provided. Officers will be available to engage and assist with fishing. All skills are welcome!
The Department of Natural Resources’ Fishing in the Neighborhood Program will be onsite providing education on environmental stewardship and fish identification.
